The Jackson Parish Friends of 4-H annual banquet was held on Saturday, August 24th, at the Charles H. Garrett Community Center in Jonesboro, as a packed house enjoyed tremendous fellowship, a scrumptious meal, and showed their support by actively participating in silent and live auctions, which raised a tremendous amount of money for the upcoming year.
Jackson Parish 4-H Director Kristina Bourgeous complimented those who attended the gala event and showed their support in the auctions, and by making donations to the local 4-H chapter through a statement she posted on the Jackson Parish 4-H page. (shown below)
“The dust has settled and we are super thankful for the support of our community during the Jackson Parish Friends of 4-H Annual Banquet. Great friends and great fellowship with the future of our youth in mind.
Thank you goes out to the Jackson 4-H Foundation and all of our sponsors and donors for making this event possible. And to Mr Jesse for sharing his love of fun and auctioneering to make the night memorable!
Shoutout to our Jr. Leaders who are always willing to show up and share their time, dedication, leadership, and commitment to their clubs, their communities, and their state. These youth truly are our future, and we see sunny days ahead for Jackson Parish 4-H.
Thank you again for your support, and we are already looking forward to next year!”
