After being only one of two golfers to shoot under par in Saturday’s opening round, Brad Porter came back with a 3-over par total on Sunday for a two-day total of 145 (70-75) to claim the title of 2025 Jackson Parish Golf Club Champion. 

The scored was two better than second place finisher Caleb Ross (73-74: 147) and five ahead of Trey Howard, who led after day one after finishing with a 69, the best round of the tournament. 

Dwayne “Snook” Harrell was the Senior Division champion when he navigated the 18 holes on Sunday for an even par 72 that, along with the 78 he shot on Saturday, gave him a 150 total and a comfortable 10-shot victory over second-place finisher Tommy Cruse, who shot rounds of 77 / 83 for a score of 160. Josh Stringer came in with a two-day total of 162 (82-80) to take the first flight by three strokes over Cody Donaldson (83-82: 163)
