JHMS falls to Cedar Creek in Season Finale

Cedar Creek of Ruston put a damper on Homecoming festivities Tuesday evening by clipping JHMS 26-6 in the season finale for the Junior High Tigers. Jasen McNiel scored the only touchdown for the Tigers.

Despite the first loss of the season after victories over Arcadia, Winnfield, LaSalle, and Red River, it didn’t stop JHMS head coach Max Martinez from praising his guys for a tremendously successful season that ended with a 4-1 record.

“We didn’t finish the season like we wanted, but overall the guys did a great job all year long, and I am very proud of the way they represented our team and school,” said Martinez.

Jonesboro-Hodge Middle School finished the 2025 football season with a 4-1 record.
