The administration and staff of the Jackson Parish Library is pleased to announce that Steve Bateman will be in concert at the Jonesboro Branch on Thursday, October 2nd. 

The veteran musician, vocalist, songwriter, and recording artist who spent most of his life performing in Houston, TX, performing at many of the city’s finest venues, will begin his performance at 2:00 pm. There is no charge to attend. 

During his many years in the music industry, Bateman is known for doing shows with music icons such as Willie Nelson and Roy Clark. Since returning to northeast Louisiana in 2011, Bateman often performs as a volunteer at nursing and rehabilitation homes, libraries, and other related settings, performing a variety of classic “oldies: and vintage country music for his audiences.
