Jonesboro Monday Morning Commute Snarled by 18-Wheeler Crash

It was just another peaceful Monday morning when suddenly a havoc broke loose when an 18-wheeler failed to negotiate the curve in front of Jonesboro-Hodge High School, resulting in the big rig overturning and sliding to a stop in the Sabine State Bank Parking lot.

Jackson Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies and Jonesboro Police Department officers quickly responded to the scene to help motorists navigate around the cab of the truck that was blocking the southbound lanes of Highway 167. No injuries were reported.
