Kimble Thompson of Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home in Jonesboro has been named Funeral Professional of the Year by the Louisiana Funeral Directors Association North District.

The prestigious honor was bestowed on Thompson, a third-generation funeral home professional, for his dedication and compassion to care for and serve others at a banquet that was held on October 3rd at the Waterfront Grill in Monroe.
