Principal Brent Carpenter, as well as administration and staff members at Jonesboro-Hodge Middle School, is pleased to announce the Students and Staff Member for the month of September. 

Chosen as Students of the Month for September are Mikhail Jones, Kelsey Shaw, and Kynasia Oyetunde. These outstanding students have consistently demonstrated PAWS—Preparing themselves, Acting respectfully, Working together, and Safety first— every single day. We are proud of their leadership, dedication, and the example they set for others. Keep up the great work! 

Selected as the Staff Member of the Month is Karen Wimberly. Her hard work and dedication were truly evident during Homecoming, as she went above and beyond to help prepare students and make the event a success. She has proudly taught at Jonesboro-Hodge Middle School for three years, consistently making a positive impact on both students and staff. Ms. Wimberly shared, “It’s not about being the best teacher; it’s about being the teacher who brings out the best in every student.” Her passion and commitment shine through in everything she does, and we are grateful to have her as part of our school family.
