Area First Responders honored through “Backin’ The Badge” Breakfast

Volunteers from McDonald Memorial Baptist Church and Jonesboro State Bank

Volunteers from host McDonald Memorial Baptist Church and Pastor Lance Smith along with representatives of sponsor Jonesboro State Bank, recognized First Responders from Jackson Parish on Monday at the 10th annual “Backin’ The Badge” breakfast.

Members of the Jackson Parish Sheriff’s Office, Jonesboro Police Department, Hodge Police Department, Jackson Parish Ambulance Service District, area Fire Departments, and various city and parish officials all partook of the scrumptious meal prepared.

“It is our way of serving those who serve others,” said volunteer Deneise Barlow.
