The Board of Aldermen for the Town of Jonesboro approved a Resolution (2025-23) declaring the intention to issue a taxable sewer revenue bond at their regularly scheduled monthly meeting that was held on Tuesday, October 14th, in the conference room of City Hall.

Additional business handled by board members Robbie Siadek, Robert Hunter, Nia Evans, and Tracy Ginn was the introduction of three Ordinances identified as:
Ordinance 2025-11: Adopt Surplus Property for Fourth Street
Ordinance 2025-12: Approve DEQ & Water Sector Project
Ordinance 2025-13: Utility Rate Increase

A discussion to condemn properties at Parcel #00950006482 on Beech Springs Road and at 119 Harlan Street was also held, followed by reports from department heads of Police, Compliance, Public Works, and Fire Departments.
