The Student/Athletes of the Week for October 12-18 from Jonesboro-Hodge, Quitman, and Weston High Schools have been selected. Sponsored by the Jackson Parish Hospital and chosen by members of the faculty and staff of each institution, the award recognizes an outstanding student/athlete for their academic achievements and athletic accomplishments. 

Earning accolades this week are Victoria Leonard, a Sophomore on the JHHS Tiger Paws squad and a band member, Megan Kelley, who is a senior on the Quitman High School cross country team and Leyton Younse, an 8th graders on the Weston Junior High School boys basketball team.
