On Saturday, October 25th, nearly 50 boats containing Northeast Louisiana High School Anglers will descend on Caney Lake in Jackson Parish for the second leg of the 2025-26 tournament schedule and final date this fall.

Included are six teams containing Jackson Parish residents expected to “blast off” around 6:45 am from Caney Lake Landing and RV Park, located at 7777 LA Hwy 4 east of Jonesboro. 

Local anglers and expected to compete are: 

Sheppard Norred – Jackson Ables (Quitman High School)
Hailey Chatham – Ben Ramsey (Weston High School)
Drew Caldwell – Asher Norred (Quitman High School)
Benton Terry  – Maddox Duck of QHS (NELAHS) 
Jake Vail – Jaxon Cheatwood (Quitman High School)
Tucker Masters – Chance LeMoine (Quitman High School) 

Tournament Notes:

Caney Lake Landing will have breakfast beginning around 5:00 am.
Check in at the weigh trailer from 5:45-6:45 am
All boats should be in the water by 6:45 am
Live wells will be checked during blast off
Boats arriving after 6:45 am will check in after blast off

Weigh In:
Scales open @ 3:00 pm
Flight 1 check-in by 3:00 pm (Boats 1-25)
Flight 2 check-in by 3:15 pm (Boats 26-45)
