The Jackson Parish Hospital has named Aleida Schut, Respiratory Therapist, as the ‘WOW’ Award recipient for the month of April.

Aleida was nominated by both patients and coworkers for her consistently pleasant attitude, welcoming smile, and willingness to go above and beyond for everyone she encounters. She is known for always being helpful – never hesitating to step in to support patients, visitors, or fellow team members, all while maintaining a positive and compassionate demeanor.

Colleagues describe Aleida as proactive, organized, and deeply committed to her role. She is always looking for ways to improve departmental workflows and ensure smoother operations, all while delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Her compassion for her patients and dedication to excellence shine through in everything she does.
