A total of 31 members of the Jackson Parish Shooting Sports program have qualified for state competition, which runs through April 18th and is held in various locations across the state. 

Contestants representing Quitman High, Weston High, and Homeschool are competing in Air Pistol, Smallbore Pistol, Smallbore Rifle, Archery, and Modified Trap Shotgun divisions in shoots being held at the Alexandria Mega Shelter, LSU-Ag in Alexandria, Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Range, and Bridgeview Gun Club.
