The Jackson Parish Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about a scam circulating in the parish. According to the JPSO, a document is being received in the mail that appears to be a State of Louisiana notice of a fine owed to the Traffic Division of the Municipal Court of Orleans Parish. 

“If you get this, disregard it and do not scan the QR code,” said Sheriff Brent Barnett.
