On Friday, April 24, Jonesboro-Hodge Elementary School (J-HES) hosted a LEAP Pep Rally for students in Grades 3-5 to get them pumped up for testing!

The spirit-filled event included local pastors, officials, and guest speakers who offered prayers and words of encouragement to the youth. It also included a special presentation from Mr. James Bradford on behalf of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and a J-HES Cheerleading Squad performance. Last but certainly not least, all 2025 LEAP Mastery Recipients were recognized. Every student left with a goody bag and a test-taking tips sheet.

***2026 LEAP Testing began Monday, April 27th, and concludes Tuesday, May 5. Students are encouraged to get a good night’s rest, eat a healthy breakfast, arrive promptly at 7:45, and DO THEIR BEST!
