The 2026 Legacy League season is in full swing, having played two of the five-game schedule that began on April 13th and will play at 5:30 pm each Monday through May 11th at the Jackson Parish Recreation Department Sports Complex, located at 5254 Hwy 4 East of Jonesboro.
The Legacy League is made up of two teams sponsored by Jonesboro State Bank and Magee Farms, giving athletes (ages 4-18) with physical and/or mental exceptionalities the opportunity to play baseball each week, paired with area volunteers who provide support and assistance as needed.
Week one volunteers were from Ebenezer Baptist Church Youth and Quitman High School Beta, with the Jackson Parish 4-H youth leaders being there for week two of play.
