On May 16, 2026, Jackson Parish will vote on important issues and candidates that impact our lives. And it is important that we cast our vote. While I cannot and will not tell you how to vote, I will encourage every registered voter to please cast your vote during early voting or on election day, May 16, 2026.

In reference to the amendments and the parish-wide Sheriff Tax Renewal, I have had several citizens contact me. As I stated above, I will not try and tell you how to vote, but after giving much prayer and consideration, I have decided to share with you how I voted. Now, let me be clear: I am not asking you to vote like me; I am only sharing my ballot with you.
