One year ago, Jonesboro-Hodge and Quitman High Schools returned from Baton Rouge with 2025 LHSAA state championship trophies. This Thursday, May 7th, the two schools will descend upon Bernie Moore Track Stadium on the campus of Louisiana State University (LSU) once again, eager to defend the titles won by the JHHS girls and Quitman boys.
Both are favorites to repeat, with an added kicker being based on the results of the regional meet held this past week, the QHS girls team also has a great shot at bringing home the valued hardware.
