I truly believe the future of Jackson Parish is bright. We are a community built on strong values, hard work, and looking out for one another—and that gives me confidence in the road ahead.
I believe the tax millage up for renewal is ultimately a decision for the people.
The Sheriff’s Office belongs to the people, and it’s the people who determine the level of funding through their vote. It is then the Sheriff’s responsibility to manage and make the best use of whatever resources are provided.
As I continue my campaign for Sheriff, I want to address a concern I’ve been hearing from many of you. There seems to be a rumor that I plan to fire employees and reduce services if I’m elected Sheriff.
I want to be clear about something important: regardless of the outcome of the tax millage vote, I will never consider reducing essential services, which include our School Resource Officers or the Senior Patrol program. Protecting our children and caring for our elderly are not optional — they are priorities.
This is personal to me. My children live and go to school here, just like yours. I will continue to work with the school district to ensure the School Resource Officer program is successful. And I’ve seen firsthand the impact of the Senior Patrol through my own grandparents, who valued and depended on that service. These programs matter because you matter. I am committed to keeping Jackson Parish safe, supported, and moving forward together.
I look forward to the opportunity to serve as your Sheriff and to work alongside the dedicated men and women who serve this parish with pride
Together, we can continue building a stronger, safer community for everyone. It would be my honor to get your vote.
REAL CHANGE. FRESH PERSPECTIVE.
