Eight from Jackson Parish named to LSWA 2026 Class B All-State in Baseball / Softball

The Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) has announced its selections for the 2026 Class B All-State Teams in baseball and softball, with Jackson Parish well represented on both teams. 

A total of eight local players, four each in baseball and softball, were named to either the All-State first team or earned honorable mention.  Quitman High School had four selected to the softball team and one to the baseball squad, and Weston had three named to the baseball team.

Louisiana Tech signee and LHSAA all-time career hits and RBI leader, Maggie Guyotte, was named Most Valuable Player and selected to the First Team in softball, along with Hallie Kate Pullig and Anna Leach. Receiving Honorable Mention was Brenna Lamkin. 

Drew Browning and Colton Blundell of Weston High School, both of whom will continue their baseball careers at South Arkansas Community College, were selected to the Class B first team. Another South Ark signee, Hudson Pullig of Quitman High School, and Ty Henderson of Weston received Honorable Mention.
