Jonesboro Heritage Quilt Guild Holds June Meeting

Clara Slusher was the Special Guest Presenter at the Jonesboro Heritage Quilt Guild Monthly Meeting

The Jonesboro Heritage Quilt Guild held its monthly meeting on June 3rd in the Fellowship Hall of the Jonesboro-Hodge Methodist Church. Featured along with the always enjoyable “Show and Tell” portion of the session, where members display their most recent creations, was Clara Slusher, who treated members to helpful tips on creating a healthier sewing space and staying flexible, which got everyone up and moving while putting those suggestions into practice.

With monthly meetings beginning at 9:00 am on the first Wednesday of every month and Sit & Sew sessions on the third Wednesday, the Heritage Quilt Guild provides a forum for quilters and guild lovers to promote the appreciation and preservation of quilts, where skills are shared so the art will be handed down to others.
