The administration and staff of the Jackson Parish Library (JPL) are pleased to announce that, at 11:00 am on Monday, June 22, an Elderly Fraud Prevention class, led by Gina Martinez of the Louisiana Department of Justice, will be held at the Main Branch, located at 614 South Polk Avenue in Jonesboro.

Also, the JPL has released its very entertaining and educational schedule for week 3 of the Summer Reading Program. Participants will have the opportunity to learn computer skills, make tie-dye bandanas, and take part in a scavenger hunt. Included is a special guest appearance from Entergy and Cub Scout Pack 523. Capping off the week is “The Dino Experience” on Friday.
