The father /son duo of Dwayne “Snook” Harrell and D.J. Harrell fired a 5-under par round of 31 to win the inaugural Father’s Day 2-Man Scramble Tournament that saw 28 teams play the Jackson Parish Golf Course on Thursday, June 18th.

Coming in second place in the Championship Flight was Tayt and J.J. Culpepper, whose 4-under par round of 32 was one better than the scorecard playoff-winning third-place team of Brad and Savannah Porter, who shot a 33, as did Rickey and Emma Kate McBride and Pete and Mike Simonelli.

Winning the first flight with a 35 over the nine-hole, par 36 layout was Bagwell and Posey. One stroke behind were Phillip and Brady Craig with Tommy Cruse and Lucas Shaw finishing in third place with a 37 in a scorecard playoff over the teams of Jim and Ben Colvin, Davis Tolar and Greg Foshee and Grant and Chris Williams.

Second flight winning team in a scorecard playoff was Moore and Moore, over the second-place team Lyles and Lyles after both teams shot a 40. The father/daughter duo of Justin Dodson and Ana Dodson shot a 41 to take third in place in yet another scorecard playoff over the teams of Edminston/Edminston, MIke and Brody Sullivan, and Whittington/Whittington.
