JPASD Care360 Offering New and Expectant Mothers Program on Friday, June 26th

The Jackson Parish Ambulance Service District (JPASD), in partnership with the Living Well Foundation, announces that a New and Expectant Mothers Program will be held from 6:00 – 8:30 pm on Friday, June 26th at the JPASD Training Center, located at 115 Watts Street in Jonesboro.

Dads are invited to join as well for the JPASD Care360 event, a new Community Health Program dedicated to building a healthier, safer, and stronger Jackson Parish. The program is about helping parents and caregivers understand the frustrating features of crying in normal, healthy infants that can lead to shaking or abuse. The program provides an opportunity for parents to learn about the characteristics of crying from over 50 years of research on normal infant crying.

There is no cost to attend. To register call the Jackson Parish Ambulance Service District at (318) 259-2877.
