Jackson Parish! Men of Purpose has some exciting news for our youth. Our parish is full of young entrepreneurs, and we want to help them become responsible and successful business leaders by sponsoring a Young Business Leaders entrepreneurship class.

The session for anyone 18 years old or younger is hosted by Mayor J “Spike” Harris and the Town of Jonesboro and will take place at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 29th, in the Conference Room of City Hall, located at 128 Allen Avenue in Jonesboro.

Mayor Harris and others have agreed to help the youth with the paperwork process so that they can participate in an upcoming vendor event. BRING YOUR LAPTOP/TABLET and learn about obtaining EINs, city permits, and other requirements needed to start or run a business. This will be a great experience for anyone interested in starting their own business or simply gaining knowledge and insight on local requirements, policies, and procedures.
