Cornerstone Christian Academy in Jonesboro swept Lake Academy on Saturday, with the boys winning 3-1 and the girls winning all three sets. With the victories, the boys won their third straight match of the 2026 season and remained undefeated, while the girls improved to 6-1 after a victory over Ascension Academy on Friday.

Gracepoint Christian Academy falls to Mt. Olive

In their first year of fielding a volleyball team, Gracepoint Christian Academy has been remarkably resilient, showing tremendous poise and determination. The Lady Guardians played Mt. Olive Academy out of Athens on August 25th, with the Junior Varsity winning two sets out of three by 20-25, 25-18, and 14-13 scores, and the varsity team losing all three sets by 25-10, 25-5, and 25-10 margins to drop to 1-2 on the year.
