Cornerstone Christian Academy (CCA) and Gracepoint Academy (GPA) both had Association of Christian Educators of Louisiana (ACEL) volleyball league games this past week. In girls’ varsity competition, CCA beat Ascension Classical School out of Shreveport in three straight sets to improve to 5-1 on the year, while Gracepoint, in its first year of fielding an athletic program, lost in three sets to the Louisiana School for Math and Science (LSMSA) in Natchitoches to drop to 1-2 on the year. The CCA boys team was also in action, losing 3-0 to Southwest Louisiana Homeschool Athletics out of Lafayette, LA, to see their season record fall to 1-2.
