The 2026 Jackson Parish Sports Hall of Fame (JPSHOF) Induction Banquet will be on Saturday, October 3rd at the Family Life Center of the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro, LA. The event will begin at 5:00 pm for the social time, with the program set to start at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $25.00 per person, and a table is $225.00, which includes tickets for eight. If an inductee or high school athlete to be honored sits at the table, the cost is $200.00.

Entering into the Jackson Parish Sports Hall of Fame as the “Class of 2026” are Joey Pender (JHHS), Shelby Green (Quitman High School), Cynthia Loyd (JHHS), Lowell Mize (JHHS), and Steve Treadway (JHHS). Also, Bill Decou (Rundell Jr. High) will be honored with the Outstanding Meritorious Service Award.

Also to be recognized are the male and female Athletes of the Year from the high schools of the Jackson Parish School District for the 2025-26 school year as follows:
Jonesboro-Hodge – Ciara Gray and Dakota Knox
Quitman – Maggie Guyotte and Brayden Smith
Weston – Olivia Otwell and Drew Browning
