For every high school athlete, the ultimate goal is to receive a ring, which signifies that you were a member of a state championship-winning team. For most, this is only a dream. If an athlete is very fortunate, they get the opportunity to sport the “bling” once in their lives at best.

Then there are the members of the Quitman High School Lady Wolverine softball team.

You are cordially invited to Quitman High School at 6:00 pm on September 22nd to join the celebration as the Lady Wolverines softball team receives their THIRD state championship ring, earned in as many years, commemorating a remarkable “three-peat” of state titles (2024-26).

To put into perspective how special this accomplishment is, only one school in Jackson Parish has won three straight state championships (JHHS 1987-89) over 105 years of Louisiana High School Athletic Association competition.
