Recently, students from Gracepoint Christian Academy (GCA) had the opportunity to step into the “real world” of employment. Students were challenged to create a resume, participate in a professional interview, and then wait to be called for the job.

The GCA administration extends a huge thank you to Mr. Michael McDonald from Jackson Parish Bank for interviewing each student and providing valuable, individualized feedback to help them grow in professionalism, confidence, and communication.

And the results are in!

Mr. McDonald was so impressed with Samuel’s interview that he actually created a back-office job for him! Talk about making an impression!

Experiences like this remind us that education is about more than what happens inside a textbook, and GCA is helping its students prepare to step into the world with confidence, character, skills, and a strong work ethic.
