Jackson Parish Police Jury Special Called Meeting Minutes
September 22, 2026

The Jackson Parish Police Jury held a Special Called Meeting on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 5:30 PM in the Nathaniel Zeno Jr., meeting room, 160 Industrial Drive, Jonesboro, Louisiana. Members Present: Mrs. Amy Magee, Ms. Regina Rowe, Mrs. Sheketia Combs, President Todd Culpepper, and Mr. Lewis Chatham. Absent: Mrs. Tarneshala Cowans and Mr. Keith Burris. Also present: Mrs. Nia Evans Watkins, Secretary-Treasurer.
President Mr. Culpepper called the meeting to order. Mrs. Magee gave the invocation and Mrs. Combs led in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance.
Mr. Culpepper called for public comments. There were no public comments. There was no public present.
Motion- Mrs. Magee, seconded Mr. Chatham to approve upholding and affirming the 2025 tax assessment as presented by the tax assessor.

Motion- Mrs. Magee, seconded Mr. Chatham to call for a public hearing for the amended subdivision ordinance to be held at 5:15 on October 13, 2026, in the Nathaniel Zeno, Jr., Meeting Room, 160 Industrial Drive, Jonesboro, LA.. Motion carried.
Motion- Ms. Rowe, seconded by Mrs. Combs to adjourn. Motion carried.
