The Jackson Parish Museum and Fine Arts Association held its regularly scheduled quarterly meeting on October 19th at the Museum, located at 515 South Cooper Avenue in Jonesboro. Board members Blair Aranda (President), Mary Hoover, and Wilda Smith attended, and Karen Tolar was absent.

After the board approved the minutes from the last meeting, it approved the financials and bill payments. President Aranda then gave her report, followed by the panel’s discussion of possible members to consider for the board and the need to update information on Facebook and the website.

Plans for the music event on September 18, 2927 and automation improvements were then discussed before the session was closed with plans to move the next meeting to Monday, January 25th, due to the regularly scheduled date being on the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
