The Jackson Parish Student Athletes of the Week, sponsored by the Jackson Parish Hospital and chosen by select faculty members at JHHS, Quitman and Weston High School has been selected for the week of March 21 – 27, 2021. Chosen this week is Lajaesha Bailey of Quitman, Bryce Zehr of Weston and Logan Smith at Jonesboro – Hodge.
Bailey is a junior powerlifter from Quitman, who just participated in the state tournament that was held in Monroe. Logan Smith is a freshman baseball player at Jonesboro-Hodge while Bryce is an 8th grader who plays baseball at Weston. The award is given each week to the student/athlete that best exemplifies what a student athlete is all about.
