Jonesboro-Hodge High School defensive tackle Noah Lucas has become the first Tiger this fall to receive an offer to play collegiate football. A stalwart on both lines for Jonesboro-Hodge, Lucas was asked to become a member of North American University team based out of Houston, TX.
The 6’0″ 235 lb. senior has registered 32 tackles, including 25 solo stops, three sacks and an impressive 10 tackles for a loss during the regular season which saw JHHS compile a 4-6 record. He also has a forced fumble to his credit.
The Tigers will be in action this Friday at Ferriday High in the first round of the LHSAA Division IV “non-select” playoffs. If Lucas decides to attend NAU he will become the third JHHS football player in the last two years to play on the second year university’s team following 2023 JHHS graduates Catavious Waters and Joshua Tatum at NAU.
