Jimmie Davis State Park on Caney Lake in Jackson Parish is thrilled to announce that groundbreaking begins Monday, March 10, on major upgrades with an estimated completion in early fall 2025! 

According to issued plans, ALL campsites are getting upgraded with:
Full sewer hookups
50-amp electrical service for better power options

All previously made reservations will be honored, but campground access will be limited during construction. We appreciate your patience and can’t wait to welcome you back to a fully upgraded Jimmie Davis State Park!
