A pair of local residents, including a Town of Jonesboro public official, were arrested by law enforcement agencies in Bienville and Winn Parishes over the last week of February.  

Per arrest reports published by the Bienville Parish Journal and Winn Parish Journal, Town of Jonesboro Alderman, Devin Flowers, and Quitman resident, James R. Jones were both arrested on February 27th. 

Flowers was cited for Operating a Vehicle with a Suspended License and no License Issued while Jones was charged with Possession of Schedule I with Intent to Distribute, Stop Sign Violation and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
