The Jackson Parish Sheriff’s Office (JPSO) hosted its annual Senior Citizens Luncheon for the seniors who are part of the JPSO Senior Citizens Patrol watch list on Thursday, April 29th, at the Charles H. Garrett Community Center in Jonesboro
“It is always a special opportunity to spend time with some of the people who mean so much to Jackson Parish,” said Sheriff Brent Barnett. “Our seniors have helped build, serve, and strengthen this community, and it is a privilege for us to show our appreciation.”
Adding to the gala event were Honorable Louisiana Supreme Court Justice Jay McCallum as a special guest speaker, along with Jackson Parish Police Juror Sheketia Combs, who shared both a special message and special music.
“To all of our seniors, thank you for your wisdom, your kindness, your encouragement, and the example you continue to set for Jackson Parish. We are grateful for each of you, and we are proud to serve you.” – Jackson Parish Sheriff’s Office
