The Jackson Parish Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the West Monroe Police Department, is currently investigating possible thefts involving online purchases scheduled for delivery during June and July 2026.

Primarily involving, but not limited to, BBQ pits, investigators are seeking information regarding any online purchases that were reported as delivered but were never received. The information you provide could be critical in helping investigators identify additional victims, establish patterns, and further this ongoing investigation.

As part of this ongoing investigation, detectives are investigating a contract delivery driver who may be connected to these reported thefts. The investigation remains active, and investigators are working to identify any additional victims and determine the full scope of the incidents.

We are asking anyone in Jackson Parish who:

  • Purchased items online during June or July 2026, and
  • Received notification that the item was delivered but never actually received it, to please contact the Jackson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

If you believe you may be a victim, please be prepared to provide any available documentation, including:

Purchase receipt
Order confirmation
Tracking information
Any communications regarding the shipment or delivery
