JHMS students help spread Christmas cheer to Forest Haven residents

On Thursday, December 16, 2021 students of Jonesboro-Hodge Middle School participated in a Christmas service opportunity. Students traveled to Dollar Tree and Walmart of Jonesboro to put their consumer math skills to test, as they selected requested items for the residents of Forest Haven Nursing Home. As a safety precaution students did not enter the building, but did help with drop-off of items. This was a very memorable experience and JHMS looks forward to working with them in the future.

Special thanks to Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church of East Hodge for their generous donation and Ms. Shona of Forest Haven Nursing Home for helping orchestrate this event.
