The Jackson Parish Police Jury (JPPJ) will hold a Public Hearing at 5:15pm on Tuesday, July 19th at the Charles H Garrett Community Center located at 182 Industrial Drive in Jonesboro. The following pair of Ordinances will be the center of discussion.
1. Ordinance 01-07192022: Authorizing the acceptance of credit cards for the payment of permits, fines, fees, and services and establishing a service charge (convenience fee) for credit card use
2. Ordinance 02-07192022: To provide funding for the Jackson Parish Museum and Fine Arts Association for calendar year 2022.
Immediately after the hearing the JPPJ will conduct their regularly scheduled monthly meeting.
