The large contingent of Jackson Parish 4H Shooting Sports team members proved their mettle at regional competition as 51 times locals qualified for state in 21 events. The regional competition was held in Grand Cane, LA and consisted of 15 archery, 8 air pistol, 4 smallbore rifle, 2 modified trap shotgun and 4 smallbore pistol events. 

In all competitions, five times JP 4H won 1st place four times, second place six times and finished in third twice. In addition six times competitors came in fourth place and three times earned fifth place in an event.
