Five outstanding students from Jackson Parish enjoyed the experience of a lifetime this past week as they traveled to Orlando, FL, the home of Disneyland and the Magical Kingdom, to participate in the national Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Conference. 

With over 16,000 high school students from all over the nation in attendance the event featured special guest speaker Shawn D. Nelson, Founder and CEO of LoveSac, who gave an inspiring message and congratulated all who qualified for the prestigious event.

Attendees earned the right to participate in the national conference by virtue of top ranking in state competition. Representing Jackson Parish was Ethan Johnson, Sa’Tavia Qualls, Ma’Riyah Jones, from Jonesboro-Hodge High School along with Morgan Cheatwood and Addisyn Bougues of Quitman High.
