The Jackson Parish Library Board of Controls will hold a meeting on Monday, July 15th. The regularly scheduled session will take place at 4:30 pm in the McBride Room of the Main Branch, located at 614 South Polk Avenue in Jonesboro.

Board members expected to attend include Paula Essmeier, Judy Cooper, Lisa Nunn, Ann Standley (Vice-President), Vicki Jenkins, Robin Tew, Carol Massey (President) and Jackson Parish Police Jury Ex-Officio, Amy Magee. Additional expected attendees are JPL Director Floyd Knox and Jonesboro Branch Manager Angela Walsworth.

C. Review and adopt resolution to transfer funds from Sabine State Bank to Jonesboro State Bank and close account
D. Consider and approve the implementation of COLA increase adopted in the 2024 budget with affective date of August 5, 2024
E. Consider and act on hiring Fred Newton and Company to assist in obtaining an emergency generator for the Jonesboro branch.
F. Review and adopt updated budget for 2024
