Celebrating the theme “God is Able”, Bethany Missionary Baptist Church, located at 441 Bethany Church Road in Quitman is hosting their annual Homecoming beginning Saturday, August 17th and running through Thursday, August 22nd. 

The festivities begin with a picnic at 12:00 pm (noon) at the Jimmie Davis State Park at Pavillion 3 where family fun, games, food and fellowship promise to open the spirit filled week in grand style. 

Pastor Bently O. Williams and the congregation invite you to then attend the Homecoming Worship Service that will begin at 2:30 pm on Sunday, August 18th.  Special guest speaker will be Pastor Calvin Wortham of Holland Grove Baptist Church in Arcadia. 

The spirit filled week will continue at 7:00 pm nightly on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday,(August 20-22). Bringing an inspirational word will be Pastor Robert Gaines who ministers at both St. Mark Missionary Baptist in Bonita, LA and Logtown Missionary Baptist Church in Monroe.
