Responsibilities:
– Provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare settings
– Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
– Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient needs
– Assist with tube feedings and other specialized procedures
– Conduct laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis
– Utilize electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth to document patient information
– Monitor and maintain infection control protocols

Qualifications:
– Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of [Location]– Experience in acute care, or a similar setting preferred
– Proficient in medication administration and phlebotomy techniques
– Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

*REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATION STATEMENTS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES**

The Town of Jonesboro has been conditionally awarded a grant through the Community Development Block Grant Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) Louisiana Watershed Initiative (LWI) Round 2 Program, with the requirement that a final feasibility study (H&H Study) and a full project application must be submitted to and approved by the Office of Community Development. The Town of Jonesboro is seeking to procure the services of an engineering firm to prepare the final feasibility study (H&H) and to implement the project if it secures funding for construction.

The procedures for the selection of this firm will adhere to the procurement requirements of the CDBG-MIT Program. All responses received will be evaluated in accordance with the selection criteria and corresponding point system outlined in the request for proposals package. This package also details the scope of services to be performed by the selected firm.

The Town of Jonesboro will award the contract to the respondent obtaining the highest score in the evaluation process.

Village of Chatham Council Meeting
August 13, 2024

The Village of Chatham met at its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 6:00 pm.
Present were Mayor Gregory Harris, council members Bernadean James, Toni Malone, Laverne Mixon, Sue Proffer and Mike Wilson.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Harris. The pledge was led by council member Toni Malone and prayer was given by Mayor Harris.
Mike Wilson motioned, Sue Proffer seconded and was approved by all to accept the minutes as read of the regular meetings that was held on June 11, 2024.
Toni Malone motioned, seconded by Mike Wilson and approved by all to accept the minutes as read of the regular meeting that was held on July 9, 2024.
Toni Malone motioned, seconded by Mike Wilson and approved by all to pay the monthly bills.
Sue Proffer motioned, seconded by Toni Malone, to adopt Resolution 2024-06, amending Resolution 2017-14 and establishing a fee schedule. The resolution passed with the vote as follows Yeas-4, Nays-1, Absent-0.
Toni Malone motioned, seconded by Laverne Mixon and approved by all to adopt Resolution 2024-07, setting the Public Facilities Management regulations for the LCDBG for FY 2022.
Mike Wilson motioned, seconded by Toni Malone and approved by all to introduce Ordinance 2024-04, repealing zoning Ordinance #12-90 and establishing a new zoning ordinance.
Public hearing will be held September 10, 2024, at 5:30 pm at the Village Hall, located at 1709 Oak St.
