There are many wonderful aspects of the high school experience but one of the most important is the education gained that helps prepare students for their respective career choices. 

At Jonesboro-Hodge High School, the students in the Introduction to Nursing classes have been busy learning various skills that prepares them for their professional medical life.

So far this year, the students have learned how to safely transfer residents and properly apply a gait belt and completed the communication unit where the students learned how to properly communicate with not just residents but other care team members. They are currently learning all about Infection Prevention and Control measures that  includes practicing the proper use of PPE (Personnel Protective Equipment).
