WHS FFA places 2nd in Area 1 Forestry CDE

Another event! Another banner!
On October 4th, the Weston High School FFA placed second overall in the Area 1 Forestry Career Development Event at Louisiana Tech University, adding another banner to their ever growing collection.
By virtue of their fine finish, the five person forestry team of Nathan Pierce, Alyssa Holland, Landon Pierce, Aiden Dowd, and Aidan Pierce qualified for the State Forestry CDE that will be held on October 30th.
Adding to the impressive team performance was the showing turned in by Nathan Pierce, who had the high individual point in combined wood products, disorders, and equipment ID practicum by only missing 1 of the 40 items.
