The administration, faculty and staff of Jonesboro-Hodge Elementary is pleased to announce that the school has been awarded grants from the Living Well Foundation (LWF) and the Organization for Autism Research (OAR.
The LWF grant is in the amount of $6,000.00 and the school will receive six mobile dental clinic visits from Miles For Smiles with the help of the foundation’s funding. These visits provide a resource for comprehensive care directly to children at school.
“Jonesboro-Hodge Elementary is thankful for the LWF’s commitment to improving the medical, dental, and behavioral health of the population, especially kids. The school recognizes the link between poor oral hygiene, attendance, academic success, and overall health. The funding of the mobile dental visits will promote healthy dental routines and wellness” – Ms. Copeland, Principal.

Founded in 2006, the Living Well Foundation serves the residents of Caldwell, Franklin, Jackson, Lincoln, Morehouse, Ouachita, Richland, and Union Parishes.
