Jackson Parish Library to present a Morning Spent with Santa on Saturday

The  Jackson Parish Library invites you to come and tale advantage of a full schedule of activities from this Wednesday to Saturday. The fun and education begins with “Adult Crafternoon” on Wednesday, December 4th where at 2:00 pm at the Jonesboro Branch contestants will “copycat” a Ross masterpiece from a tutorial. On Friday, December 6th, SNAP Outreach Coordinator, Mrs. Jerlisa Elzy, will be at both the Jonesboro and Chatham Branches (times shown below) to assist with Food Stamp Application and to help simplify reports and redetermination.  Bringing a climatic end to the week will be the presentation of a “Morning Spent with Santa” on Saturday, December 7th. Swing by the Main Branch, located at 614 South Polk in Jonesboro from 9:00 – 11:00 am and enjoy cookies with Mrs. Claus and have your picture made with Santa. As an added attraction, the Jonesboro-Hodge High School “Tropical Thunder” Marching Band will make a special appearance.
