The Jonesboro-Hodge Elementary School boys basketball team, under the direction of head coach Carlos Hicks, opened their season in fine style on Monday, December 9th, by beating Choudrant 30-16 at the Jonesboro-Hodge High School  boys gym. 

Leading the way for J-JES was Addarren Amos who scored a game high 19 points. Jace Jackson chipped in with five points, Caiden Jackson finished with four and Tyson Brown added two points for the Tigers.

J-HES will next be in action on Monday, December 16th when they will welcome neighboring Quitman Elementary at the JHHS boys gym. Game time is set for 5:30 pm.
